GRL Guide Rings
GRL guide ring was developed to replace traditional guides in bronze in the hydraulic cylinders. Guide the stem or the piston and avoids metallic contact with the cylinder in the presence of radial forces acting in direction perpendicular to the movement. Since the GRL is obtained by turning from sleeve, the thickness is extremely precise for high accuracy in driving. The material used for this guide is a fiber-reinforced thermosetting polymer polyester, PTFE and MoS2, characterized by high resistance to heavy loads, hardness and stability at high temperatures
Features
• Excellent resistance to heavy loads
• High driving precision
• Good resistance to the “diesel effect”
• Long service life
• Suitable for both rod and piston guides
• Simple assembly and groove design
• Low static and dynamic friction (also in absence of lubrication)
• Good mechanical stability at highs temperatures
• Excellent for rotational movement and swinging
