MRB Guide Rings
MRB type guide ring was developed to replace the traditional guides in bronze in hydraulic cylinders. Drive the stem or the piston and avoids metal contacts with the cylinder in presence of radial forces acting in a direction perpendicular to the movement. Since the MRB tape is obtained from mechanical processing, the thickness is extremely precise for a high accuracy in driving. The material used for this guide ensures high speeds, low friction and, thanks to the its chemical resistance higher than that of all thermoplastics, broad compatibility with almost
all fluids.

Features
• Low static and dynamic friction (also in absence of lubrication)
• High permissible speeds
• No “stick-slip” tendency
• High driving precision
• Dampens radial vibrations
• High compatibility with almost all fluids
• Simple assembly and groove design
• Good mechanical stability at high temperatures
• Easy to install
• Low resistance to radial loads
